Falling or simply finding the wings I lost long ago? I think I can see the future I will
eventually fly to, if I just open up to those who tried to help me here on my
way down, yet I kept refusing. Thinking I could do this on my own. NO angel got
their wings without the grace of other angels in their path....Thank God for the
angels in mine....

For Bit of Heaven ~ Written 8/9/12
A horse I named: A Good Prize is indeed just that…
Scooby was the name he came with when we got him...
A Quarter horse, dark bay in color he is a gorgeous creature one would die to have…
He’s a bit of a doofus, just as curious too…
Hyper and a bit messy…
Chewing on everything from fly bonnets, boots and the end of my bracelet…
Food is an excuse for him to whine, rather he hears or sees it…
Greeting other horses with a shrill neigh…
Showing in his colors of black and blue he’s a show stopper…
He loves to jump and gallop about, being as spunky as a young horse of 6 should be…
But he also knows when to behave…
I love him with all my heart, and I hope we have many wonderful years together.

For Munchie ~ Written 7/29/12
Wow, Ziggy is such a Piggy.
Keeping weight off is a little tricky.
Black and white like a marbled floor,
She is hardly ever a bore.
She’s a dream to ride,
And is decent to guide.
Over jumps with such ease,
The crowd becomes quite pleased.
Dressage practice is a chore,
But often gets a great score.
Eventing is her main training,
Lots of trophies on the shelf shining.
One great mare with so many qualities.
It’s everything a girl could want in a horse.
Oh, lets not forget her owner Chloe…
Her hair gold as wheat in a field,
Eyes blue as if chilled.
A high spirited teen with a bubbly attitude,
And her friends say she’s rarely rude.
But don’t take her to be a child that can only goof,
Also mature, she can make that child go poof.
The two couldn’t fit together any better.
A well bonded pair from C to Z.

Title: Saying goodbye
Growing up as a child all I ever wanted was a rabbit.
When I turned four my parents got me one at last.
But after I had him for a while, I realized all he does is sit.
Even then I loved him with all my heart, feeding him and letting him loose I my house, Soon did I realize he sure is fast.
Brown in color like the dirt outside my house.
Nibbling quietly on his food.
Then it hit me by surprise, he kind of looked like an overgrown mouse.
When I was sad, looking at him and holding him in my arms always put me in a better mood.
He went by the name Toffee.
Bouncing around happily like a spring.
He sure as heck doesn’t need any coffee.
When he had lived a good eight years, he passed away while I was at school, the pain hitting me like a million stings.
RIP Toffee, Love Forever, Chloe
