A loud buzzing sound filled London's ears. Her Milky-brown eye shot around as she took in what was going on. Her body was jolted roughly, half unable to focus. the air masks dangled from the ceiling and a paniced voice came over the intercom, yet she was not able to make out what the lady was saying. Half of the plane was soon ripped off. London put on her mask frantically, her hair flailing wildly in the wind. She turned to the man next to her, placing his mask on as well, then everything went blank.
Brandy
Todd wakes up barely able remembering what happened, he had been asleep for most of it.Smoke bellowed throughout the plane, barely able to see, he could just make out the wreckage of the plane and the dead bodies. The scene was gruesome, he made his way slowly off what was unknown to him as part of the plane, unaware anyone else had survived.
Britt
Smoke rolled through London's nose. She choked and her eyes Fluttered open, she reached up to tough her forehead, a bit of blood was dripping down her face. She was hanging upside down stuck in a tree by her seat. London's throat was so sore and she was somewhere in the woods. "Someone please help me!" she hollered. repeating her self over and over, yet silence eventually enveloped her and only the sound of wild animals could be heard.
Brandy
As Todd wandered aimlessly about, he stopped when he heard a faint hollering. It was the sound of a stressed female in the opposite direction leading back towards the plane. He turns around scanning the wreckage for the survivor. Nothing bit carnage laid about. The yelling was heard again and it sounded from the sky. Looking up in the tree, he sees a woman dangling helplessly from the seat belt. He makes his way over in agonizing pain, as he wondered how he would get to her, much more of how he would get the both of them back down with out further injuries.
Britt
Her milky brown eyes opened once again and looked around, she could barely make out the person below as the pressure in her head was pounding, causing her vision to blur. Hope sparkled in her eyes, she sighed and tried to left her boy up to prevent herself from too much blood lost from the wound on her head.
Brandy
Todd could see the blood dripping from the woman's head and the fact she was hanging upside down posed a threat to her life and possibly his company for however long he and they was trapped here. "ma'am hold on, I'm on my way up as fast as I can!" he shouted up to the woman. Looking around he tries to find a climbable object so he could safely lower the woman down.
Britt
Slow breathes came from London as she began to calm herself. She had to stay strong and calm to make this. London shut her eyes and opened her ears to the sounds of nature, she could hear the chirping of the birds nearby, being nosey to what was going on with us creatures that had just invaded their homes.
Brandy
Todd made his way through the debris that not far from reach laid a crumpled up piece of tin. He quickly grabbed it and began dragging it to the best of his ability towards the tree nearby. Lifting the tin and clambering it loudly onto a lower limb and finally begins to climb it, hoping she was still here on this earth with him, seeing as it may be his only company. Careful, yet unsure it would hold his 6'1" figure. Eventually reaching the place where she hung lifelessly it seemed, lifting up on her hips and unbuckling her seat belt, releasing such weight that the two fell out of the tree, landing as if by luck, on the tin below and knocking it off it's hold of the tree and thudding the two onto the ground with a vast flume of dust. All the while holding the girl with all his life. Determined both he and this woman would walk away alive. He strained to tote her over to a patch of grassy area and laid the woman down softly, sweeping the hair off her face gently. Worried cause not a stir came from her, getting emotional, he begins whispering to her, for her to stay with him. Shaking her body side to side, frantically trying to stir life back into her, crying and pounding his fist on her chest, not as in anger but of loss, he sits back on his knees and begins sobbing. A strained coughing comes from where the woman laid, quickly clearing up his tears and hovers over the woman. Her eyes open and she looks around as if to gather her bearings. A tear falls onto her chest, rolling off of her shoulders and into her shirt. "Thank God you're alive, I thought I lost you..." he murmers, hope renewed within his soul.
Britt
London's body was shaken up a bit as they slid down, a throbbing pain begins in her head as they thud to the ground. Her mouth felt like sand paper, so dry and now full of blood and bitter in taste, she spits out what she can and wipes her mouth with her forearm. The putrid, smoke filled air makes her nose crinkle. She finally opens her eyes, squinting at the the bright rays of sun as they glared down at her through the trees. The handsome face of a male soon blocked the rays of light. She smiled a little and laid her head back.
Brandy
The woman looked up at him for just a moments time then closed her into a blissful sleep. She seemed she was going to make it and he picks her up like a baby, carrying her to the closest water source. There he had intended on clearing the two up from the dust they had gathered during the the wreck. He rips off a piece of his shirt and dunks it under the water and rings it out before wiping it across her forehead, gently pressing as he wondered what would become of the two after this. He worked his way over her body with the cloth till she was clean and realized it would soon be dusk and they needed shelter from the wilderness. Carefully he picks her up again and takes her to the woods nearby, her hair swaying in the air below his arm where her body laid relaxed and quite. Laying her up against a indented tree trunk he begins gathering dry branches and burnable material to make their fire with, their fate relied on him solely.
Britt
A bit of time flew by before London came to, looking around confused and the smell of wood burning dragged her gaze to the fire the seemingly had warmed her beyond means of need, her skin tingled with heat as if she was literally cooking. She moves slowly to turn her body and warm up that side instead, the man from earlier stared back at her with a half smile, the glare of the fire dancing in his eyes. "Glad you finally came to miss." he told her, she looked away to the fire flickering violently. "So, was there anymore people that made the crash?" she asked the man, trying to break the void of silence between them. Her voice soft implying boldly that she was shy. But communication at this point may be their only friend to keep them from sanity, if starving or wild animals didn't kill them first.
Brandy
"I have yet to look, we have to worry about our own safety first." he replies still staring at the flickering flame that had lost a bit of it's luster. Todd throws more branches into the fire, throwing ashes and burnt particles flying into the air, twirling wildly before putting themselves out and settling back into the fire or the ground around it. He had to figure out how the two would survive till help came, if it even does. What did the two even know about survival? Nothing, only whatever skills they held could save them at this point.
Britt
London had always read stories of things such as this, but never figured it would become her reality. All because her original flight had been canceled and boarded this plane instead. "So did your other flight get canceled like mine did?" she inquired, trying to make sense of everything that had happened to her. She allowed her gaze to be taken from from the fire for a moment as she awaits his reply. She secretly was hungry, but seeing the issue at hand, she wouldn't put either of them in any more danger, not tonight at the very least.
Brandy
"Yes, how did you know?" he looked at her confused. Was it by fate they both had cancelled flights, or was it planned? Thoughts creeped through Todd's mind, things began to sound stranger by the minute. The journey to the truth began to unravel and they both could see this wasn't fate, as bad as they would like to see it that way.
Britt
"I didn't, it was just curiosity. But how is it we both had cancelled flights and we boarded the same next fight?" she was baffled by the idea all this had happened. What of her family? Her career? the never ending thoughts slapping at her mind with no end. "We should probably get some sleep, You want to keep first watch?" she asked kindly, hoping he would take up her offer. this day was too much for her, she needed her sleep. "Sure..." he replied and she settles down at the bottom of the trunk, using the large root as a rather uncomfortable pillow, she wanted her soft bed so bad.
Brandy
He watched as she settled into a blissful sleep. Trowing more wood into the fire, seemed his only company for a while, He was warm, but his thoughts was cold. Not sure where the two of them was, no idea how they would get back to society. Forget family, their jobs, it was all lost, for now. Owls hooting and growls coming from the woods around them, rustling of branches here and there as Todd worriedly jerks his head around, trying to see what lurked nearby, could be their meal or they could be a meal to something else if they wasn't careful. The night slipped by quickly as Todd had since stood up and faced a deer nearby, standing still as it went back to eating. It edged closer and closer till he finally decided to jump on it, it thrashed violently but it was young and he managed to get it pinned in a headlock and grabbed a nearby rock as it began crying out for help. London woke with fear and looked over at the man wrestling this deer. Todd began smashing at it's head with the rock in his hand, London looked away as the deer kicked at him and finally after a while became silent and went limp. Blood covered both him and the deer's head and neck, fur matted with crimson color, as soon so did the ground below them.He stood catching his breath, chest expanding with great stress. He had released the deer and it fell to the ground. Not without gashes from it's hooves and bruises all over, he had gotten them both a decent meal or two if it didn't spoil too fast. He ripped more of his shirt off and began carving chunks of meat out to wrap in the shirt and bury in the dirt deep enough so it stayed cool. hopefully it would work the way he planned. The night passed on as Todd threw the last bit of dirt back onto the the meat and jabbed a stick into the ground as a marker with a piece of the shirt tied securely to it like a flag. Soon after going to wake London and get her to take over into the morning with watch. He settled rather quick into slumber, exausted and determined to take care of them both til help arrived.
Britt
Dawn eventually came to as Todd rocked her lightly, trying not to startle her, she rolled around and wiped her eyes tiredly before nodding to him, acknowledging she had watch duty. Brushing her hair back with her hand she fixed it and sat up while watching Todd settle into a balled up figure drifting quickly off to sleep, I mean after all he did just stay up all night. Wondering about such, where did the deer go that he fell last night that ripped her out of her sleep. London began to look around for fresh signs of the kill, but surely he wouldn't leave it out to spoil. Perhaps he buried it? Would it stay good that way? London got to her feet and began to walk towards the water, She needed to bathe, and now, while Todd was out. But then her mind began making up reasons why not to bathe in the ocean, she simply rolls her eyes and heads back to sit by the tree. Running her hands through her hair she sits impatient and curious what all was around them. London gets up and goes to gather thick long sticks, along with a piece of thick sharp metal from the wreckage and ties it tightly to a handle like stick and begins hacking away at the longer sticks into points. Going to the plane shortly after, to retrieve shelter items, she begins dragging a rather large piece of metal from the plane over to the make shift shelter they had. Looking around for any sleep type material she starts digging through luggage and scattered items.
Brandy
The days rolls on through and London is nearby setting up shelter, tying vines and cloth together around branches. Piling on a rather decent sized piece of metal on top as a roof for the two during the wetter days. Piling two huge rocks right in the middle as a weight for the wind resistance.
